What is BTC Vault
BTC Vault is your Bitnomi wallet for holding Bitcoin and making transactions through the Bitcoin on-chain network.
It is best suited for storing Bitcoin, receiving standard Bitcoin transfers, and making larger or less frequent transactions. Since BTC Vault uses the Bitcoin blockchain, transactions may take longer to confirm and usually include a network fee.
What can I use BTC Vault for?
With BTC Vault, you can:
Hold Bitcoin in your on-chain wallet
Send Bitcoin through the On-chain network
Receive Bitcoin using a standard Bitcoin address
Make larger or less frequent transfers
View your recent BTC Vault transactions
How do I open BTC Vault?
Opening your BTC Vault wallet is simple:
Go to the Bitnomi home page.
Find the BTC Vault balance card.
Tap the card to open your BTC Vault wallet.
What can I see in BTC Vault?
When you open BTC Vault, you can view:
Your current BTC Vault balance
Your latest five BTC Vault transactions
Transaction details such as the amount, status and date
Which Bitcoin unit is shown?
Your BTC Vault balance is shown in SAT by default. A satoshi, or SAT, is the smallest unit of Bitcoin.
You can change the display unit at any time.
How do I change the Bitcoin unit?
Tap More in the bottom-right corner of the navigation bar.
Select Settings.
Select Bitcoin unit.
Choose your preferred unit.
Select Update unit to save your changes.
The selected Bitcoin unit will be used across the app, including:
Wallet pages
Transaction history
Transaction flows
Changing the unit only changes how your balance is displayed. It does not change the amount of Bitcoin you own.
