What is the Spark network?
The Spark network is a fast way to send and receive Bitcoin without waiting for every transfer to be confirmed directly on the Bitcoin blockchain.

A failed Spark payment normally means the Bitcoin was not sent.
Why could Spark fees change?
Spark transfers currently have no network fee, but this may not always remain the same.
Fees could change as the network, its services, or Bitnomi’s implementation develops. Always check the transaction preview for the latest fee before confirming.

How is Spark different from Lightning?
Both Spark and Lightning provide faster Bitcoin payments through BTC Pay, but they use different payment details.
Lightning uses a Lightning invoice or supported Lightning address.
Spark uses a Spark address.
The recipient’s wallet must support the network you choose.
What should I check before using Spark?
Make sure both the sender and recipient support the Spark network.
Do not use a Spark address for a Lightning or Bitcoin on-chain payment. Choosing the wrong network may cause the transaction to fail or result in loss of funds.
