Which wallet should I choose when selling Bitcoin?
Bitnomi allows you to sell Bitcoin and receive LKR directly in the approved Sri Lankan bank account linked to your Bitnomi account.
You can sell Bitcoin from either BTC Pay or BTC Vault. Both contain Bitcoin, but the fees, transfer method, minimum amount, and confirmation time may be different.
Is Bitnomi a peer-to-peer marketplace?

You are selling a smaller amount
You want a faster transfer
You prefer a lower-fee payment method
You do not need an on-chain transaction
BTC Pay uses the Lightning Network, so the Bitcoin transfer is usually confirmed faster.

Your Bitcoin is already in your BTC Vault balance
You are selling a larger amount
You want to use the Bitcoin on-chain network

How do the fees differ?
Selling from BTC Pay
BTC Pay transactions usually have lower network costs because they use the Lightning Network.

BTC Vault transactions include an on-chain network fee. This fee may change depending on Bitcoin network activity and the transaction size.
Before confirming the order, review:
The amount of Bitcoin you are selling
The exchange rate
The Bitnomi fee
The applicable network fee
The final LKR amount you will receive

The total processing time may also depend on:
Whether additional verification is required
Bitcoin network activity
Bank processing times
