Are there any fees?
The Spark network currently does not charge a network fee for these transfers.
This may change in the future. Always review the latest transaction details and any applicable fees in the sender’s wallet before confirming the payment.
What happens if the sender uses the wrong network?
The sender must use the Spark network.
A Spark address cannot be used for Lightning or Bitcoin on-chain payments. Using the wrong network may cause the payment to fail or result in permanent loss of funds.
Always confirm that the sender’s wallet supports Spark before sharing the address.
What happens if the Spark address is wrong?
Invalid address: The sender’s wallet should prevent the payment.
Wrong but valid address: The Bitcoin may be sent to another wallet and may not be recoverable.
Incorrect copied details: The payment may fail or go to the wrong destination.
After copying or scanning the address, check the first and last few characters before the payment is sent.
