2. Bitnomi will show you a 12-word recovery phrase.

3. Write the words down in the exact order shown.

4. Confirm your recovery phrase by entering the missing words.

5. Once the recovery phrase is confirmed, your wallet will be created.

How do I protect my recovery phrase?

• Write it down and keep it somewhere safe and private.

• Keep the words in the exact order shown.

• Do not take a screenshot or store it in your phone gallery.

• Do not save it in email, cloud storage, messaging apps or notes.

• Do not share it with anyone, including Bitnomi Support.

• Consider keeping a second written copy in another secure location.

Anyone with your recovery phrase may be able to access your Bitcoin.

What happens if I lose my recovery phrase?

Your recovery phrase is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device.

If you lose both your device and recovery phrase, Bitnomi or any other person cannot recover your wallet or the Bitcoin stored in it.
